Redemption, being saved from hell, is that what the gospel message is all about?

Every aspect is based on extraordinary faith. Everyone has doubts at times and we question and reason so much. However, at some point we begin to take God on his word according to text and Christians accept the Bible as Living. Jesus told Thomas his disciple (the first believer to doubt) to touch his hands and feet and thrust his hand into his side. Paraphrasing he tells him that blessed is he who has not seen, but still believes.

Jesus says that He alone is the only way to God and if we adhere to Jesus as the Christ, we must accept him at his word for we are also accepting him as God Incarnate and that the great I AM assumed humble flesh and allowed his own creation of man to spit upon him, scorn him, torture him, beat him, pierce him and allow him to die on the cross in shame.

You know, in modern times, many Christians want to accept Christ but equally go along with the world in casting doubt upon stories of the Bible as true. Take note that one of those is the story of Noah, but remember that Jesus says that in the end days, people would be like those in Noah's day. Jesus acknowledges the existence of Noah and how they likewise laughed at Noah. That is, until the floodwaters got deeper and deeper.

The Bible is something that we must seek refuge within, study, meditate upon and consider carefully. There is little known about nature past, present and future. However, we can only choose two paths and that is to trust God fully or allow the doubts of the world to betray what God has given to us.

That explains it, that won't work on the phone. When I fire the PC later today I will give it a quick listen.

I actually removed my post (didn't know you were online that late and saw it.) Not because it wasn't a good message, but because there was another one that would explain in more depth some of what he is referring to in the one I posted, and I was going to list that one first. If you'd like to watch them in the correct order, here they are. The second one is the one I had originally posted.

Yeah had a fun day yesterday, arrived at the Newark airport at 11am yesterday and tried to catch 3 different flights home . Eventually getting home early this morning.

Only consulation is I flew back home with Bernadette Peters (only she was in First Class and I got to enjoy the aroma from the chemical toilets).

It was clear that she aged but she still looks pretty good. She caught my eye a couple of times in the waiting area but it took me about 10 minutes before I realized who I was looking at.

I am terrible at spotting film/music celebrities, only other one I know I have spotted in airtravel is Gary Bussie, but that's a gimmie.

According to Wikipedia she was born on 2/28/48, which makes her 59 years old. Here is a picture from July of last year. [IMG] Still looks young and vibrant. :)

I knew she was "up there" when she finally got married, but I didn't know her marriage was over, or why.
    How terribly sad.

Thanks, I'll be sure to have a listen to those as well. I already listen to J. Vernon McGee on BBN at times. I hope Dr. Rogers' sermons are replayed for as long as Dr. McGee's have been. Dr. Rogers is probably my all time favorite Bible teacher and I (selfishly) wish that he had not been called home so soon.

Emilie, I want to encourage you to take some time to read this EXCELLENT article which explains in great detail what being born-again really means. http://www.bible.org/page.php?page_id=2355

Hope everyone that tried got in. My wife called to tell me that it was pretty good and that they had to turn a number of folks away for Fire Control reasons.
