Any experience buying mountain properties?

    I have always dreamed of owning mountain property and lately there seems to be alot of advertising for new moutain properties/communities in Western North Carolina. Does anyone here have any experience buying pre-construction property in the 2-12 acre per lot range?

    Does anyone have any experience with Southeastern Land Sales?

    Any advice you can offer would be very much appreciated.
