Yes I was one of them that made a comment, but I offered a different view or opinion of why the ad may have been placed. I never once stood up nor defended the ad or person, nor did I ever once condemn him for posting said ad. Craig
See. secrecy would involve actually planning and scheming to make sure no one knew anything of what was going on. While being discreet would be to get a hotel room instead of having sex in the car while parked in the Lowes parking lot. See BIG difference. Craig
Lowes parking lot if they are going to do it in a parking lot I hope they would use cvs they can buy condoms there.
No, Craig. It means the same to me in a sense. I DO know there is a difference but yet they are a little on the same line. Secrets are just that, so that no one knows what is going on.....Discreet is doing something as to not be found out. Kinda the same to me.....
Define words however you like that will justify your belief that you can condemn someone you don't know for actions you have no idea of. The rest of us will use a dictionary Main Entry: se·cre·cy Pronunciation: 'sE-kr&-sE Function: noun Inflected Form(s): plural -cies Etymology: alteration of earlier secretie, from Middle English secretee, from secret secret 1 : the condition of being hidden or concealed 2 : the habit or practice of keeping secrets or maintaining privacy or concealment Main Entry: dis·cre·tion Pronunciation: dis-'kre-sh&n Function: noun 1 : the quality of being discreet : CIRCUMSPECTION; especially : cautious reserve in speech 2 : ability to make responsible decisions 3 a : individual choice or judgment <left the decision to his discretion> b : power of free decision or latitude of choice within certain legal bounds <reached the age of discretion> 4 : the result of separating or distinguishing
i am thinking that its a clayton firefighter, not 100% sure but i had a roomate that was involved with this type and didnt know that he was married until a girl told her!
Then might I suggest you go back to school and try using those two words inter-changabily in a term paper and see how you are graded. They are two totally different meanings no matter how you look at it. Craig
Hey how are ya. I've had a schedule change recently and busy going to ball games at night so I've probably been here when I wasn't here. lol
Sorry fellas!!! You can be as sarcastic as you want and make look stupid if you want....doesn't matter. The guy is a D-O-G. And if you need to be discreet, as in not letting it be known as that is how most AFFAIRS are, you know it's no good to start with. My boss had quite a few affairs and he was trying to be "discreet". In other words he wanted it NOT TO BE KNOWN a/k/a as "SECRET". Fortunately, he was caught as his lovers were not so "DISCREET".
SERIOUSLY people...I mean think about it people... 18 pages on whether or not this guy is a dog or this guy needs to be more discreet? Puhleasssse! All this was probably someone on here looking for a ruse to see how many people he or SHE could stir up. And look 18 pages later people are still call this guy OR GIRL a dog. Looks like mission accomplished if ya ask me. And if it is true... this guy probably has some sort of mental problems. Think about it...What person IN THEIR RIGHT MIND puts out an ad for secret sex? The gotta be dumb as dirt because once he OR SHE hit enter it ain't "secret" no mo! I bet it's Al. He knows what kind of power he has on stirring up this board.8)
In a related story, apparently kookoo, having found it was her husband who ran the ad tried to give him the Bobbitt treatment but was unsuccessful. Mr. koo received 13 stitches on his inner thigh and koo koo was charged with a missedaweiner.
Bwhahhhaaahahahaha I'm glad there is no one in the office right now, because I literally laughed out loud with that one!
