I agree with you, whatever differences I have had over the years with Falwell and his public statements. No family deserves to have these crazy people show up and make a mockery of their loved one's funeral. And please refresh my recollection, what exactly did Jesus say about homosexuality?
I spent a full five minutes in edit mode trying to come up with something to say on this, but just can't do it. I guess some things are far to incredulous to put in to words.
hopefully when jerry showed up at the pearly gates he discovered that the soloist in the angelic host choir is freddie mercury....
falwell believed that gay sex, like any other sex outside of marital bonds between a man and a woman, was a sin. he also believed that homosexuality was not a genetic predisposition, but rather a lifestyle maintained by choice.
Falwell made his beliefs on that subject pretty clear. I was asking what Jesus said, and if it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you please quote chapter and verse?
Good description of our little 4042 home Grace. BTW, i spoke to my Mom in Lynchburg yesterday and she nearly fell off her chair when i told her i actually defended Jerry in a thread on here:lol: i just try to look for the positive in someone's life when they pass - my husband says one day i am gonna wake up and find out the glass is not half full but i think he is wrong:-D
I refuse to look at a glass half empty. Just not in my character anymore. I believe everything works itself out in the end regardless of the mental trauma most people put themselves through. I learned a very long time ago it does no good to worry. You can't stop the inevitable.
