I agree with you, whatever differences I have had over the years with Falwell and his public statements. No family deserves to have these crazy people show up and make a mockery of their loved one's funeral.

And please refresh my recollection, what exactly did Jesus say about homosexuality?

I spent a full five minutes in edit mode trying to come up with something to say on this, but just can't do it. I guess some things are far to incredulous to put in to words.

This would be a "duh". He preached anti-gay.

falwell believed that gay sex, like any other sex outside of marital bonds between a man and a woman, was a sin. he also believed that homosexuality was not a genetic predisposition, but rather a lifestyle maintained by choice.

I did not realize that Falwell was Jesus Christ. Does this mean he will rise again? I hope not!

Falwell made his beliefs on that subject pretty clear. I was asking what Jesus said, and if it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you please quote chapter and verse?

Good description of our little 4042 home Grace.

BTW, i spoke to my Mom in Lynchburg yesterday and she nearly fell off her chair when i told her i actually defended Jerry in a thread on here:lol: i just try to look for the positive in someone's life when they pass - my husband says one day i am gonna wake up and find out the glass is not half full but i think he is wrong:-D

I refuse to look at a glass half empty. Just not in my character anymore. I believe everything works itself out in the end regardless of the mental trauma most people put themselves through. I learned a very long time ago it does no good to worry. You can't stop the inevitable.

I don't think the glass is half full or half empty.... I think it's too large....
