You know how you separate the men from the boys at a Freddie Mercury party?...............

Yep. I saw them at Sonfest last year and they opened with "We Will Rock You." They're a really good up and coming band. They did a funny little song too called "Rock Stars Need Money" -- here it is from a different concert (turn your bass down!) http://youtube.com/watch?v=qmOzz-zhrQE

Oh yeah, here is the video of "The More." http://youtube.com/watch?v=lfyJcekJGqs&mode=related&search=

This looks nothing like him and they sound horrible by comparison. I am not sure if I am stating the obvious, but Freddie Mercury was homosexual therefore there would be no reproducing.

At least through traditional methods. I agree this group does not compare, but I am not sure they want too!

LOL!! Downunder isn't a Queen copycat band, they're a contemporary Christian band whose lead singer happens to sound a lot like Freddie Mercury.

I know Freddie was a homosexual who died of AIDS and probably never sired any offspring (though I think I remember hearing that he did have a girlfriend at one point.) Notice there is a wink in my original post. ;)

Not sure this is such a great idea

P.S. I know it is an old thread, didn't think it warranted a new one and I saw that a long lost family member started this thread.

Ive seen documentaries about Freddy Mercury's life. All have been extremely interesting. He was an amazingly talented artist.
