OK, I AM ON A RANTING MODE TODAY SO DEAL WITH IT! WHY IS IT THAT PEOPLE MOVE HERE FROM OTHER PARTS OF THE US AND Enlightened person AND COMPALIN THE WHOLE TIME? I AM SPEAKING OF A GIRL THAT I KNOW WHO JUST MOVED HERE IN NOVEMBER FROM A NORTHERN STATE AND ALL I HEAR IS WHY DONT YOU GUYS HAVE THIS, WELL THIS IS HOW WE DO IT FROM WHERE I AM FROM. UGGGHHHH!!! IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!! AND ITS NOT LIKE SHE DOESNT HAVE A CHOICE TO GO BACK SHE CAN ANY TIME, SHE JUST RATHER COMPLAIN!THERES ANOTHER LADY HERE THAT IS FROM THE FRIGGIN BAYOU AND HATES IT HERE ALSO, SO GO HOME!!!! SHE COMPLAINS THAT EVERYTHING IS SO FAR AWAY. WHAT?!?! I MEAN WHAT DO YOU WANT? YOU LIVED IN THE SWAMP AMONG THE ALLIGATERS AND SKEETERS AND YOU WANT MORE THINGS CLOSER TO YOU? OH AND ON TOP OF THAT SHE SAID THAT WE ARE "YANKEE" TO HER! AND THEN I GO GET A MANICURE AND PEDICURE ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND THERE IS A LADY WHO WALKS IN SITS IN THE BOOTH NEAR ME AND STARTS TELLING THE LADY HOW MUCH SHE HATES THE SOUTH BECAUSE SHES FROM NEW JERSEY AND PEOPLE DOWN HERE ARE SOO RUDE, AND THERE IS NOTHING TO DO DOWN HERE, THE LANDSCAPE SUCKS AND SHE THOUGHT THE WEATHER WAS WARMER THAN THIS. UMM HELLO YOU ARE FROM NEW JERSEY AND YOU ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT DOWN HERE? ARE YOU SERIOUS? SO CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY YANKEES,WESTERNERS ETC FEEL THE NEED TO MOVE DOWN HERE AND COMPLAIN? GO HOME IF YOU DONT LIKE IT!!!!!!!! HELL, ILL EVEN HELP YOU PACK AND GIVE YOU DIRECTIONS TO 40 OR 95 TAKE YOUR PICK AND LEAVE!

Its common This has been discussed soo many times before in soo many places. People are just accustomed to where they were for many years.. People come here for work and for cheaper housing or for whatever reasons. They know if they dont like it they can move back. Its common

ok so i can agree that people everywhere are rude at times! but my god why come down here and start crap with us like the way we pronounce things, YOUS GUYS say things diffrent too!
and yea fort bragg is a diffrent thing they HAVE to be here, but even when I have been down that way before the people arent rude!

I am from the north and I love it here! Yes it took a little getting used to, and yes there are some things down here that I can't get, like my fav coffee, and real maple syrup, but that's what family back home is for! LOL I have met some great people that are now my good friends, I had bbq for the first time and love it, had my first pig pick'in here, and I don't miss going to the mall, it's saving me money! LOL Funny thing is, my family and friends back home think I'm a redneck now, but down here people don't think I am. (well not that I know of!):lol:
well good for you for not complaining 24/7!!! im sure that it did take alot of getting use to but atleast you arent down here talking crap about us southerners! ( atleast that we can see on here )
