WHat happened at the intersection of Shiloh and Cornwallis? My mom had to turn down Shiloh and come out by Chops in order to get through that area.
What time today, I was there about 45 minutes ago. (around 3:30). They are surveying the area because they are going to either repave or widen Cornwallis. Could it have been that?
Is it a large traffic congestion from the "crack" traffic trying to get into crackville at josephien near cornwallis? Users may be stocking up for the weekend.
It was a car accident. Someone rear ended a pregnant driver as she was simply driving down Cornwallis. Seems everyone is okay physically.
Oh my gosh! I am glad to hear everyone is okay. The lady had to be terrified. My sister was 5 1/2 months pregnant with her youngest when she was hit by TWO cars...one car smacked into another and they both hit her. We spent the entire night at Johnston Mem (don't get me started...she begged to be taken to Wake Med but the EMT said they had to transport her to the closest hospital - that rule has since changed). Thank God, both mom and baby were fine...just scared half to death (at least mom was).
I guess the rumor I heard about more people coming out of JMemorial dead than alive has some truth to it then...
Perhaps someone was trying to get their weedeater to Griffs for repair before he closed for the weekend.
I'm a mail lady and I use Cornwallis/Shiloh area for one of my route. I had to tell you that area is a dangerous place to drive because of traffic and speeding. I get nervous all the time when I stop my vehicle to deliver the mails and driver zoomed pass me quickly without slowing down. I could've got hurt or something. I pray to God for my safety and protection daily during my job. I've seen people speeding and ran pass the red light. It's a shame that people are so careless in this world these day.
I try my best to be cautious around ya'll... But can I ask a favor? Tell your sidekicks I paid a lot for my locking mailbox, please don't leave the mail sticking out, it kinda defeats the purpose of a locking mailbox.... :-D
Tawaii... too funny. I actually got that thing to work earlier this afternoon. ANd by doing so, I completely removed any excuse I had for not getting the yard done.. safe weekend to ya. Carl
We normally don't leave the mail sticking out. If that's the case, you need to write a note to your regular carrier and explain how you feel. He or she will understand and accept the responsibilty. Hopefully, this will be taken care of. We take our customer service seriously and we want to make them happy.
