Cotton candy? Do YOU even know what you are talking about?

Is that the only thing you read?

None of it made any sense...just rambling from someone that appears to be trying to appear intelligent. I was just wondering what the cotton candy line meant. It didn't fit in with the other nonsense.

My Jesus...My only problem with you and ormly is that you two think you are right and the 2300 people that attend C3 weekly are wrong. Why don't you try to reach people that have not accepted Jesus as their savior instead of trying to slam a church that is all about bringing glory to God (My God, your God, the ONLY God). I believe it is you that will be answering the tough questions when that time comes.

All of these things are awesome...while you are studying, study this...

    Colossians 2:16-19

"16Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. 18Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions. 19He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow."

    sigh...

I don't understand why it is all about "I'm right, you're wrong". Let's think progressively here. Would you throw a 5 year old into a calculus class without knowing the basics of addition and subtraction? People find GOD in many places. Remember He doesn't judge and He is everywhere you turn. He knows what is in each man's heart. I truly believe if one person is following the path to God to the best of their ability that God WILL see. If a person decides there is a better message at another place and it leads that person there, God knows what is in their heart and their intention.
Did you ever think that this church is the best learning place at this point in a member's life? Say for example, a man is lost and has been lost for a long time, and then finds a simple message within a church that strikes a chord, strikes interest, and changes his life for the better, is he punished by God?! I personally believe not. What you may deem unfit in one church may be exactly what another may need.

Another analogy...someone wears glasses and each year they get new glasses because they can't see as clearly as they saw the previous year....a person who has had blurred vision all of their life and had to adapt to the environment to the best of their ability acquires them and for the first time sees everything just a "little" clearer...does this make the man who donated them less than the one who acquired them because he couldn't take the slightest blur? or does this make the one who can see clearer any less because he didn't attain the "new" glasses earlier? People progress at different paces, lead different paths and gain different messages.

The fact is, God has been present long before the Bible and will be present long after we are gone. You can't force a person to God, you can't push a message on deaf ears. And most importantly, you can't criticize what may ring true in one's heart to that of another. Everyone follows their own path. No two people are alike. There are many paths to one message and one God. Some bumpy, some not so bumpy, rarely, if ever smooth. Each person decides for themselves which route to take.

Be humble and always look within yourself for improvement. You can't change the heart of another man but you can teach through example. The only relationship with God you can change is the one between yourself and Him. And guess what, you still have no say in His decision.

    Fatalism at its best, correct?

I can see what Ol' Ormly is saying and where I grew up, we called it lying when one told an untruth and knew it to be untrue. What do you call it here?
It seems to me (and from the posts others too) there is a long history of statements by Ol Ormly that are clearly offensive in nature and directed at the individual level with that intent. That is not what most would call a very Christian way of doing things, but then again I think they all have been called less than Christian by Ol' Ormly at one point or another.

In any case to say that one is choosing words to be broad so as not to make a personal attack and then follow immediately with a clear personal attack shows a less than honest position, IMO. Given the rest of the history of the posts a clear trend is also evident as to both the personal nature and the attacking nature of the posts.

But then you are a very confused individual. So how could what you say be taken in any serious way?

Nope not "very confused" at all, but that would not be any type of personal attack would it? Nah, you do not do such things .... at least you SAY you do not do such things, right? ;)

How could what you say be taken in any serious way given the knowledge of your repeated misrepresentations of your statements?

I repeat, you are confused. Foolish me for responding to one who can't make distinctions.

Nope, not "confused" either. I agree you do seem to be foolish at times though, such as when you make a statement and contradict it in your next post. ;)

Yep. It might seem that way and it happens to the best of us when dealing with someone who doesn't know who he his or where he came from.
