I saw this story on WRAL this am and then again on TMZ.COM. Why would they even consider this?







It might be far from a sure thing, but Rosie O'Donnell sure seems like she's all ready to come on down and be the next host of "The Price is Right."

The former "View" flamethrower tells her fan-inquisitors at rosie.com that she's meeting with CBS this week to talk about "TPIR," and that she' all set to go if CBS asks her to take over the skinny mike from Bob Barker, who ended his 30-year run last Friday "If they asked me, I sure would .. I LOVE THE PRICE IS RIGHT." Barker endorsed Ro as his replacement over the weekend.

Of course, not everyone is thrilled about Rosie potentially plying players with Plinko. One reader wrote that a petition had already started for a "50-state sponsor boycott" should Rosie be chosen, to which O'Donnell spat back, "The only thing I want to gay up is you."

One thing everyone can take comfort in: Rosie says she'd keep Barker's signature sign-off about spaying and neutering.

 

Watch out she may call the "rosie" beauties terrorist because they play a part in the games and why people arn't winning

Well, talking about things NEVER gets any job done, Lets all take 5 minutes and e-mail CBS, explaining how you are a fan of The Price is Right and have been for years and if Rosie O takes over the show, you will no longer watch.

If you don't like her, let them know. Actually, Rosie is repulsive to me.

 

I can't even imagine they would entertain the thought.....I mean their ratings would nose dive. Who would the little old ladies hug? who would drive thousand's of miles just to meet....Rosie? no way, no how......that would be HORRIBLE....:shock:

Well, they won't nose dive unless individuals complain and threaten NOT TO WATCH.

I did this and many others with ABC and The View. She is gone from there. Never depend on others to do what I as an individual should do

Well I might just have to do that! I heard at one time that Mario Lopez was thinking about taking over, it needs to be something like that not a big fat complaining lezbo who does nothing but start trouble! ( and before i get "jumped on" for saying things about lesbians or fat people, im not a hater twords either group i am just using MY own words to discribe what I think of her.)

 

Last I heard, John O'Hurley had really impressed the producers. I think he is a shoo-in for the job...unless Bob Barker has significant pull to get Rosie on. She would absolutely ruin TPIR. I bet they'd lose a lot of sponsorship if she gets chosen. Its a successful game show and they need to keep the same formula and that doesn't include Rosie O'Doughnut.

 

Oh yea thats it. Wonder who she will have conflict with on there? maybe the models ?

I watched an interview with Bob last night and he was saying that he was in favor of Rosie hosting TPIR but so far they are only interviewing men. I think John O'Hurley would make a great host... he gets my vote!

 

I saw that interview. But ya know, BB is always nice...he has never said anything bad about anyone....that's why everyone loves him. He isn't gonna call Rosie out (but I bet he was thinking it).

 

He would be a good one! I think George Hamilton would also be perfect for that job!
