hey we are eating at CDH tonight for the first time. I'v checked out their menu on line. Are the entree salad plates as good as they sound and are the portions a good size? the Black and Bleu sounds great!
    thanks for your imput!

Well, KDs can testify to the Black & Bleu salad ;) .

Everything I've had there has been good, and the portions are large. Usually I have to take some home.

    Enjoy!

True, I had the black & bleu salad last Friday, and it was very good, and plenty large enough for me. They serve it with a good sized roll, and I didn't eat any of that, so can't tell you how good the bread is, but I enjoyed the salad.

KD's , did you have the blk/blue w/ chicken or the beef tips that they offer? just curious.

I haven't had anything that wasn't good, but I caution you to be careful. Everything is served ala' carte. Make sure you ask if there will be an additional charge for the condiments/extras you add to your sandwich.

The only things I have had that I did not like were the ruben burger and the crab cake sandwitch. They were just too greasy for me. I can't tolerate greasy food.

I have had a good number of other burgers and salads and they have been GREAT....and of course, the beer is always cold ;-)

The salads are great - that is usually what i get and they are always way too much to eat in one sitting - haven't tried the crabcakes - i am way too picky on them after living in MD and have yet to find anywhere around here that even compare, even Kro's Nest, where i loved the majority of their seafood did not have a good crabcake:-D i did learn when in MD that you never go to any restaurant other than a seafood restaurant and expect good crabcakes:-D

It's hard to find good crabcakes anywhere but in MD.

We've eaten at CDH several times and have been pleased with the food. Good portions and great prices.

thanks for the advice yesterday concerning Cleveland draft House. I got the Black and Blue salad last night. we also tried the dill chips. Both were great! the dill chips that i have had in the past were too salty. these were just right! Hubby got the meatloaf. He said it was really good and filling.

When you have good beer, who needs food anyway?

    not so much

I'm not as big a fan of CDH as the rest of you. I did want to comment on the a la carte thing. They charge you 50 cents for ice when you get a drink on the rocks. Crazy, eh?

I ain't much of a fan either - nothing special imo.
Jenn, flip out about this charge for ice or I am gonna have to come over there and beat it outta ya!!!

You got that right, Kaci, nothing like Maryland for crabs. Haven't had a soft shell crab sandwich in awhile. Road trip, anyone?
