I searched the message board to look for pet sitter recommendations and the service most used was (Two Paws Up). I called and they are not in business anymore. Any other local suggestions for the 50/42 area?
I thought that was Zookeeper? She is still around and still caring for pets, as far as I know. PM her.
My wife does pet-sitting. She grew up on a farm that bred horses and dogs and has been around both for most of her life. She has veterinary contacts within her family as well. She is very capable! You can PM me for her prices if you'd like and the dates you need the service. Scott

Pet sitting I am so sorry Zookeeper, I called the 553 number and asked about the pet sitting services. The person on the other end of the phone told me that they closed the business and weren't pet sitting anymore. So I posted up here for more references.
No need to apologize, I imagine the people with our old number got tired of getting calls. After 7 years with my home number I still get calls at least monthly for a woman - her friends are usually plastered. . .Just a couple weeks ago the Ford dealership phoned to say her vehicle was ready for her to pick up - I asked them to remind their customer that she needed to update her info. After switching numbers, I kept the 553 number for six months to help ensure that I wouldn't confuse people, but things like older phone books, or saved advertising can't be avoided. We use "Your Pet's Friend" and they are wonderful!! We found out later by coincidence that they pet sit for several people in our neighborhood also. Good luck!!!
There is also "HappyTails" (553-4181). We swear by both him and Zoo. Both have a great love of animals!
