Sounds to me like it's those creatures from that movie "the village" only these fly....lol. Crazy people in mexico probably drank to many coronas and margaritas!!!
Oddly enough I was watching the Thirsty Traveler last night on Fine Living and he had traveled to the town of Tequila in Mexico to do a show on tequila and he mentioned that once a year the town itself almost shuts down for 4 days to have a version of Mardi Gras, but it is to celebrate tequila and that the floats in the parade are often handing out airplane bottles of the stuff.
