Dogs on N. pleasant coats rd/210, big dogs!

I need to find out who's dogs these are. At 4:30 this morning I was out walking my dogs/pugs in my yard and out of no where these two big dogs ran after us, one was a large German shepard, the other one I didn't see well. Scared me so bad after I yelled and screamed at them and got my two pugs in the house that I just sat on my floor in the kitchen till I could calm down. I'm a very big animal person and I'm think with the fireworks last night that they might have been left outside and they got scared and ran off out of their yard. Which is all possible. I couldn't even walk mine last night cause of the fireworks. I'm just hoping someone here knows who's these dogs are and that they get home safely, cause they scared the heck out of me and my dogs..I was lucky, someone else might not be.

I used to think German Shepherds...even Great Danes were big dogs. You haven't seen a big dog until you've stood beside a dog like an Irish Wolfhound. Geesh!

 

I have never seen and Irish wolfhound . I will have to look them up . Do you have one?

Hey y'all... popping in for a minute from Topsail Beach (my brother brought his laptop & was able to connect to someone's wireless.) Anyway, there is a woman who lives here that has an Irish Wolfhound and a Newfoundland. She walks them along the beach everyday... you should see the size of the paw prints they leave in the sand!

Irish Wolfhounds are GORGEOUS (but unfortunately short-lived) dogs. Standing next to one, or approaching one you dont know, is intimidating!! LOVE them!! *drool*

I used to be pretty scared of big dogs til my sis got hers. Her female Bordeaux is over 150 lbs, her back is like a coffee table! But she thinks she's a lap dog. :lol:

They are handy for keeping door to door salemen away! The UPS man won't even come down her driveway though. :shock:

True, but when your walking two 15 pound pugs at 4 in the morning, anything is bigger then them, heck in the day anything is. I'm not scared of any big dogs, love them..old roommate had a couple here..but I sure didn't take a liking to two strange ones running up into my yard after my dogs.

If you rent from Mr. Byrd, it sure he is! He's a great guy!

 

No I don't, I rent from a friend that owns the house. Got lucky there when she moved back home and didn't want to sell her house just yet.
