When that someone is a good friend that i trust and i have no reason to doubt what she reported at Brown's views, then yes i would base my opinion on that - life is too short to waste time on something in which i have no interest. Another reason is that i too have never put a lot of belief in so called psychics on TV - if they truly had a gift they would be using it for good instead of ratings - JMHO
Montel has her on every week. What's interesting though is that he says, he doesn't believe in psychic's, he just believes in Sylvia's intuition.
Interesting! I don't believe in "physics" per se................but................like Clif said, I've experienced a few things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. As I've posted before, my Mom used to drive 18 wheelers..............there were several occasions when she would have a "feeling" or "premonition" whatever you want to call it that would tell her to pull off the side of the road................she would, then she'd go on about her business a few minutes later. Several times she would then come up on a wreck that she would have been in if she'd stayed on the road. The most serious was that bridge that collapsed over a river a few years ago and several drivers drowned when their rigs went into the water. Something told her to stop before she was scheduled to that day, she would most likely have been on there at the time had she not stopped. Weird! Who knows what, if anything, it was, but I'm glad she listened to those gut feelings. Before Caller ID was common, I almost always knew who was on the phone when it rang..........DH hated it! :mrgreen: But after almost 17 years of marriage, I am pretty sure I can read his mind! :lol:
I agree. My MIL loves her, but some of what she says totally is against everything I believe in. I do believe there are people out there who may have the power to see "beyond", BUT!
i totally believe in instinct - i consider it a God given gift and for some unknown reason women seem to have it way more often than men - my DH totally trusts my "bad feelings" about things, etc.
I think she a walkin', talkin' crock of crap. Then ... on the other hand... I'd give DH's left one for a private session with her! Or a runner up would be that guy, what's his name, ...he had his own show a few years ago... The name escapes me. .... (blame it on the mood swings)
Yep, it's weird for sure. We keep telling her she must have a guardian angel on her shoulder. One other time she had a medical problem behind the wheel of the big truck and passed out, she was driving alone and the truck drifted off the road and stopped without hitting anyone else or wrecking, not a scratch on it. I truly believe that was the hand of God there, because it happened on one of the only flat spots along that stretch of interstate. :shock: Gives you goose bumps! I'm really glad she's gone on to be a recruiter for the trucking company now though, I think she used up her 9 lives!:mrgreen:
I believe she has some kind of something going on....I think she is pretty darn interesting, to say the least. She doesn't harm anyone with her 'talent' and 'insight'. She gets to believe in anything she wants, just like the rest of us, as far as God and the Bible. She does use her 'abilities' to the good...she has helped solve crimes, locate bodies, etc. I believe that people have intuition. Some are just more in tune with theirs than others, especially women. I think its absolutely fascinating. She is no Miss Cleo.
I really don't believe in psychics. Especially ones who claim to talk to the dead. Seems too much like magic...there is always a trick to it, some slight of hand, some mental trickery.
