nope, but he will be at that new ampitheater that dolly partons brother just built in roanake rapids sometime soon.

 

I thought Willie Nelson playing at the State Fair was a tradition.

You know what's really funny, right after I made that joke about the little patch back of the barn last week, I drove down Sanders Rd & saw what looked to be half the Sheriff's Dept. vehicles in a yard within a mile or so of home, and then heard it was a big marijuana bust!

 

The best fact about the 2007 State Fair is N.C. State does not have a home football game during the State Fair this year. When that occurs traffic in the area is brutal.

 

But that is a true tradition! LOL

According to today's N&O, Willie Nelson to perform outdoors at Carolina Crossroads (Randy Parton's scam up in Roanoke Rapids) No date given.

 

Its August 24th just heard it on WQDR! And State Fair tickets go on sale Sept 4th.
