I used to feel your pain, but I DON'T anymore! I laid the law down about a year ago, and everyone helps now. My girls are responsible for the entire upstairs ( 2 bedrooms, their bathroom and bonus room) and my oldest daughter now does her own laundry. They both are left chore list for the kitchen, downstairs living room, foyer and bathroom. The only room they are not responsible for helping keep clean is the Master bedroom and bath. Everything else they use, so they have to help or they don't get privileges like playing with friends, swimming, pc or phone. No, I don't pay them an allowance for helping either, I pay the mortgage, groceries, and for all their clothes, etc. so they are going to earn those things. You better teach them responsibility now, because life isn't free or easy. They've got to learn how to keep a clean home, etc. or they'll live as slobs. I guess one of my pet peeves is lazy people. I can't stand it!
I did the same thing SB. The entire 2nd floor belongs to the 2 almost 11 year old twin boys of mine. They clean their bathroom, they make their beds everyday, they bring down trash, etc....all things necessary. And they don't get paid. They also take the trash to the curb every Monday, empty the dishwasher, vacuum, etc. They may not do it perfect, but they do it. There are enough useless people in this world, and I am not going to raise two more. :mrgreen:

Sorry but........... it pees me off when a man ( wanna be man ) acts like women are put here to wait on them. I doubt willspanker has ever even seen a woman naked other than in movies mag. or a blow-up doll . If I am wrong then we all need to pray for his wife/girlfriend lets all say a special prayer tonight that Mrs. willspanker will see the light and follow it out of the hell that must be her life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well he maybe but with his name willspanker he comes across as a sexist pig ,but if I am wrong then I'm sorry. I'm mad at one man today so that makes them all targets today. lol
He also is always correcting people like hes some damn 40/42 English teacher .I do not remember but maybe wrong in the rules and guidelines did it state some "NO it all" is suppose to be grading and correcting everything anybody types? Sorry but he gets on my last nerve sometimes .would love to B slap him sometimes lol Willspanker I'm sending you a slap upside the back of your head right now!!!
