Our house members had a chance to provide some badly needed funding to the DOT, and appearently they didn't like the idea of being resposible. Bad enough that they "transferred"(stole) $170 million out the "highway" trust fund, but then they let us down again by not approving a bill coming out of the senate that would have provided some $300 million dollars for highway construction. I have written my representives to complain. I hope that you will do the same.

Mr. Daughtry and Mr. Langdon need to hear from you if you are tired of sitting in traffic, or riding on roads full of potholes.

I hope you did not expect more from them.

The funding for roads is very cramped and they are not willing to step up.

Kind of makes you wonder what, extactly, a "trust fund" is.

It seems to have become a personal bank account for some.

And what good will it do to write Rep. Daughtry and Rep. Langdon when they are both members of a minority party that can not get things passed in the House? They've already voted against the budget. Until the GOP gets a clear majority in the General Assembly, don't expect many shakeups.
