Does anyone know FOR SURE what they are going to do with New Bethel Road? Are they eventually going to reconnect it? I have heard yes and no. My parents just bought a house in that new subdivision at the Hwy 50 end right behind the park and I am having to travel around my elbow to get to my thumb to get to their house. Just wondering if anyone knows the facts.
    Thanks,
    M3

Have you tried taking Cleveland School rd., turn right on hwy 50, can't think of any other way for you to get there. But what a beautiful subdivision for them to live in.

Actually, mileage/time it is faster to go toward White Oak and turn left at that store. I think it is Mt. Hebron. Then take the next right onto Clifton (?). That brings me out just below the subdivision on New Bethel. It is a very nice community. They have lived in the same house for 46 years...duty-bound with aging parents and a farm to upkeep. Non of that is holding them down anymore so they started looking for something closer to my family and church. I'm SOOOO jealous of their house.......I wish we could switch. Thank you all for your input. It looks like I'm out of luck that the road will open up.

    Bridge to nowhere?

it seems like such a colossal waste of money to build the bridge over I40 and then close at the wake/johnston co line, how many houses can their be on the east side of I40 in wake co. seems like the could have either bought them out cheaper or made another route.
