Have any links, maps or more information? How did this come about because your post seems to be in response to something.

Side note: Tetra is not affiliated in any way with Adams, Summerwinds or Cleveland Springs. The Tetra site has been in the works since 2003.

I may be wrong but didn't the Johnston Co Commisioners stop this before at the Cleveland location due to the "traffic problems" that it would cause? I thought that they wanted the developers to put in for the cost of cutting in a new rode and they said no??? I once worked for one of the commisioners and remember him telling me something about this? Seems like they are coming back times 4! LOL

looking at this website, the information is not consitent, it says 40 and 42 but it also says Wake co, One picture shows it inside the current 70&40
    [IMG]

The next picture 4of4 shows it south of the new 70&40 connector (and the infamous 540)

    Seems odd huh?

Actually the back of the property, if you go towards Garner from 42, the rear of the property is Swift Creek...which is around 1/3 of a mile to the Wake Co. line. I believe the adjoining property (if i remember right) on the other side of the Creek is indexed in Wake Co.

I see that the commissioners slipped this one in. Did anyone see anything about a proposed hearing for this project? Or is is a done deal already?

My first thought ... where will all the families who move to these apartments send their children to school??? Guessing 1000 of the 1550 apartments will average 2 children per household.... :?:

40/42 - Cleveland NEEDS to Incorporate!!!!

We need to incorporate to control what comes into our GREAT community of Cleveland!! Remember last July when Clayton tried to annex us?? We need to become our own town and protect our area, fire, rescue, etc.....I know taxes will go up a little, but i would rather pay our own town that I had to pay Clayton!!!

At least two of these new developments are houses and we know families of 17 exist so very good question. Perhaps they will rethink the blasted storage units there and build a school!

    I'm confused

Please clarify for me where this proposed site is located. I cannot figure it out by looking at the maps supplied or by the descriptions. So tell me as if I were a 6 year old.

If I am coming up I-40 East, and I take the 312 exit, do I turn right or left?

Is the property located directly off 42 or is it located off Cleveland Road, you get the picture - this is very confusing.

Is it behind NCSECU, or is it off Glen Road near Food Lion or is it off Cleveland Road near the location of the proposed Fire Department.

Yikes, am I the only one confused?

The front page of 4042 says a side road that runs parallel to exit 312, where Connec is. So it sounds to me like its further down that road, going back towards where the new 70 bypass contruction is.

Go down Glen Road, turn on Mast Drive where the BB&T is. If you head in a northerly direction (like you were going down I-40) the Tetra property is approx. 1385 feet past the dead end of Mast Drive.

If you can use Johnston County GIS, search on Pin No. 162800-81-1072 and that is the apartment site.

My biz is on Mast Dr. and I haven't heard/seen any signs of developement down by the dead end...that doesn't mean its not in the works.

There is active construction going on at the end of the road that goes down by Hampton Inn and University Lights...looks as if they are extending the road for further developement. I rode a 4-wheeler back through there a few months ago and there had been extensive recent surveying going on...

The GIS map looks like it's actually at the end of Technology Drive, rather than Mast Drive. Right in that area, though.
