I cannot wait for night time. That baby is gonna fall asleep, and I'm gonna crack open a cold one, and go float in the pool........bathing suit be damned.
My kiddo is running around under a sprinkler right now ( I have well water, so I am not breaking any rules) It's too hot even for that in my opinion. My digital outdoor thermometer says it's 104 and the sensor is in the shade.
Can't say that I miss the NC heat (just miss my buddies). It has been 76 today with a breeze. Sprinkles though.
No, you're not breaking any rules, you're just lowering the water table level Maybe you wont lower the water in your neighbours wells and dry them up
It's 245 foot deep, I don't think a 15 minutes is going to hurt anything. I'm not washing clothes or anything else today. He's already back inside. Besides, I'm the only one nearby that's not on county water.
Girl, you don't have to explain NOTHING...let that baby play in the sprinkler if he wants to. for real....
Thanks! I just didn't want to give the impression that the next family down the road is drying up and blowing away and I didn't care!
Praise God!! My flip flops were melting to the road when I took the dogs out at 5:00. We were in AZ a few years ago when the temp was 117. That was nothing compared to NC humidity......enough!!
I was at 4042 around 2:30 today and the thermometer in my van was at 107/108 ... it went down to 104/105 the closer I got to Garner.
when I got in my jeep at lunch, the temp gauge that tells the outside temp said 114, but that had been sitting in the sun since 8:00 this morning. The entire time I was at lunch, driving with a slight breeze going.. it never dipped below 104.... OMG.. I'm going to melt! Infact, I'm opting to stay at work late and work on some old stuff just because I really don't want to go outside! NOW thats bad!!!!
