It's just as hot today as yesterday and the day before but amazingly it doesn't feel QUITE as bad...could I just be adapting? I thought I was dying on Wednesday.

 

i got a heat day from work today. so i'm home again!! :mrgreen:

i guess it was too hot to work. i didn't question it, i just took it and came home.

 

F the dumb ****. I just got 1/2 of my yard mowed. I am going to mow it on level one and try to kill it. UGH ....I started feeling like I was going to pass out.

Could someone PLEASE turn the heat up more?

Mine's been needing it for days, but I looked at the weather forecast and decided it will have to wait until Saturday! Drink plenty of water, and try not to get dehydrated, it's brutal out there.

I have noticed that since this new family has moved into our sub more homes have gone up for sale.

I dont know how my hubby does it. He is a power line forman and he works in this all day long..

They may have to stay late and work til late tonight. The big transformers at the sub stations have to be watered down because they are overheating. The storms last night tore down stuff in Wendell. He may pull an all nighter..

Winter is my favorite season and now I know why. I am not a summer person, yall can have it.
