Ice cream man... The one in Spring Creek estates goes FLYIN by. By the time I hear him, he's already halfway down the road. One time he flew through so fast, by the time all the kids in the neighborhood came out with their $$$ he was long gone. All the kids were really upset they missed him. The wifey & I ran to the store and bought a ton of ice cream and handed it out of the back of my truck for free.
He lives on rt.50 going towards garner on the right hand side. his mail box say's something about ice cream. and the truck is always parked up close to the garage. just a bit of info. so if we need tot rack him down we can LOL!
Message for the Ice Cream Truck Man ! I was on my way home from Church and stopped by a friends house and seen the Ice Cream Truck Man too.It was around the same time .My husband couldnt believe it .
We have more than one ice-cream man drive through our neighborhood. Different nights, different vehicles. Some look like vans with ice cream decals/stickers plastered all over it. One van was a little too *scanky* for my business. yuck. I'm amazed at how loud the music plays, my kids will hear it way before I do. Perhaps it's selective hearing.
We have an ice cream man that lives in our neighborhood too. We live off of 210 between 40 and Smithfield. He uses an big old conversion van that has been turned into an ice cream truck. He's a very nice older man. I believe he started his business after getting laid off and failing to find another job.
That would be funny. Just be sure to blast some insanely loud muzak when ya'll go. Sidenote, so glad to see you with the new av nsane!
Go figure... My ice cream truck guy came at 8am!!! Which is worse? My kids ran around yelling ice cream truck, ice cream truck. I said, 'not before breakfast!'
In the winter time he needs to drive around selling Hot Cocoa and all the tasty Coffee drinks ! now that I would buy !
Our Ice cream truck man comes around pretty often now. I usually have about 6-14 kids from the neighborhood in my yard and he gets our business every time if we're home. We LOVE the ice cream truck man. He doesn't speak English too well and when I first saw him, I thought he might be stoned so I always stay right with the kids when he comes by. Maybe he's just really tired?? Anyway, he is always very sweet - even throws in a free ice cream sometimes. I love that my kids get to experience the excitement of hearing the ice cream truck coming and anticipating all the goodies he has in that truck. I don't mind paying more for the fun. I do agree that a bread & milk truck would be a great idea. Like the coffee idea too.
The one that comes by our house also goes to the daycare that ds goes to, real nice guy. I think he said he was a teacher somewhere does this just for the summer.
