The stories mention sexual assault as well as physical abuse. I have never and will never be able to understand that one. Children are precious and fragile and are meant to be protected like fine china, not assaulted in any way. My heart breaks for the father and grandparents. Shame on the legal idiots that put children like this back into harmful situations. What a beautiful child. I'm glad to know that she is safe now in God's care since no one else could protect her.

I still don't understand why so many folks are against the dealth penalty. They should have given the father 15 minutes alone with that man. twitch
They both should have got death. There is a special place in H for mothers who allow and take part in their child or any child being abused. This is so sad .
Okay, I guess it is time for my opinion. I don't believe for one minute that sorry mother's claims that she didn't know Kelsey was being abused! Strange how when she started dating Satan-incarnate, little Kelsey started getting all those bruises and BROKEN BONES -- yet she claims she didn't know he was abusing her... yeah right, does she think the general public consists of complete idiots?! I don't necessarily think Raye Dawn was abusing Kelsey, but she sure wasn't PROTECTING her... and she chose to stay with and marry her daughter's murderer AFTER the abuse began! And then, for her to give that Fox25 interview and cry and boo hoo about having to wake up every day to a life without Kelsey, when Kelsey didn't even get to live long enough for a 3rd birthday party... oh, it makes me so :evil:! As terrible as this may sound, if that poor little girl was going to be subjected to that monster's abuse for years and years, then she is probably better off where she is now... safe with Jesus. :-(
I should not have... I should not have looked, but I did. I am crying. I feel so bad for that sweet innocent child of God!!! It is beyond me how someone could to this to a child, or for that matter any other human being. I agree that the sentence was rather light for the guilty parties here. Their sentencing, however, will come not from us on earth, but from their maker one day! It is sad that she was placed back in the custody or allowed visitation with the mother and her new husband! I am sure this happens every day somewhere. This should be stopped before it comes to this. I was listening to a country station on the way to work this morning...Alissa lies...I am sure you know which song I am speaking of if you know country music. This story makes me hold my little boy even closer and thank God he will never have to worry about this kind of abuse as long as I am alive and have anything to do with it!!!! Okay, there is my opinion and I am sure that not too many would disagree with it. If you do, then I will not be reading your posts!!
