Girl, you got that right, it is so unfortunate that the parents tend to turn their children's sports into their own agenda. (i am sorry but after being on the inside for a whole lot of years, that is what seems to happen the majority of the time). Also, if the parents would put in the volunteer hours that they expect from the folks that run the programs, the arguments would not ever start:lol:
Yeah and im going to get a slew of it this year with all the changes that the CGAA soccer program is going through but only for a few of the leagues. Its going to be a treat!
I will tell you this ED from MCAA has always answered my question when I email him..so he is much better then what I have delt with in the past. I personal wish I could be go to the meetings once a month as well. Sheri
I have learned to pay attention to the smileys to see what kind of "mood" the poster is in. Since we all dont have webcams it is hard to know the lightheartedness(prob not a word) or the actual "harshness" that is meant in a post. Lets not forget to use our smileys people.  And one more thing...Ken, I thought that was my chalk board picture ( I am usually the board idiot) and I dont appreciate you using it on other people.
well in defense of Mommysaid....there are currently 7 threads open on Sports (and 10 on Daycares/Before and After School care in 4 days alone)....So I am sure that's what prompted the 'poll'. The poll was not about opinions of how the local sports programs are run and all that other nonsense that took up space....it was simple 'yes' or 'no' question.
I know it might be easier to start a kids type forum, and anything about kids, will be in that. We could put sports, daycare, school supplies, is this teacher good, school complaints, etc. in that one place.
Appreciate the positive feedback after all the ugly in here. I was beginning to wonder if I'd fallen into the Twilight Zone or something. Thanks KT & Mom2
G-dude, take care this season! Remember to carry liquids...it's still brutal out there. Don't know how you manage it all! Ken, thanks for the explaination. I feel no need to respond now . Off to grab a bite to eat...salad's calling me!!! Frogger
