now that i dont work in cary anymore i got to find a place here. no further than 40-42 to downtown smithfield. i live somewhere inbetween
My hubby hit Tres Vous (next to Food Lion on 210)when my clippers conked out. He was happy with them and since it was a nice cut (I did hair for years) I told him to keep on going there, and I'd bag spending a good amount on quality clippers. Wanda usually does his hair, but one of the other stylists has once or twice, and it always turns out fine. (he's been there a good 8-10 times)
Alice at "A Cut Above" on 42 East right off US 70 in Clayton in the strip mall next to Guy C. Lee Building Materials. (919) 359-9994
I line all 4 of my fellas up in the kitchen (in their underwear:lol: ) and buzz-cut everyone. It's simple and free and everyone is happy (even the fashion picky 18 year old).
My DH was going to the barbershop up at 40/42 behind Just Tires, now he shaves his head so he doesn't need to go anymore
Barber Shop My husband and son go to Cleveland Barber shop. It is in the strip center behind Just Tires on 42 highway. Right beside Ro's Ice Cream!! They do a great job!!
Nothing like a barber shop to make a man feel like a man. There is JB's Barber Shop in downtown Clayton. Some great country fellas. Little Red building on the right past the Paper Store and before TR Lees Tires.
Men's haircut My husband is retired military and has tried several barbers in the area and has settled on Amy at Great Cuts on 42 near Food Lion.
The barber shop--the last bastion for men. I recommend : Southside Barber Shop 805 S Third Street Smithfield, NC 27577 919-934-8207 Appointments preferred--great haircut--in and out in about 15 min--they stay on schedule--never had to wait more than 5 minutes--always able to get an appointment on fairly short notice--at the time I want--Please don't think that is an indication of poor service or haircuts--they just have their act together and don't overbook. I highly recommend them if you want a "barber shop" and not a "style salon". Both barbers are great guys--I have always let Gene Barbour cut my hair. Have been going there about 5 years. When I first moved to the area I asked a Smithfield police officer where to get me and my grandsons hair cut--these guys got the recommenfdation and I have been a loyal patron ever since.
