It would be great if there is. They have a sign up that says there hiring so we should know something soon.
Talked to some peeps at McKinleys.. and they don't think there is a relation between the two. But more like this place has a similar name, hoping to attract the biker crowd, and kind of riding on the coat-tails of the success of Locked & Loaded.
there used to be a lock stock and barrell steakhouse at the corner of six forks and millbrook back in the 70's and 80's ....wonder if there's a connection to that? it was very popular...
Yeah, there was one in Cary too - at the old South Hills mall. They had great individual pizzas and sweet tea. I hope it's them.
Apparently they are related... we ate dinner at Bonsai, but wandered up there to look at the menu in the window. The hostess came outside and spoke to me, so I asked if they were related to a couple of local restaurants in the Raleigh area back in the 80's. She said they are related, and its still the Stevens (Stephens??) family and the son has gone into business with the father in this location. They did alot of work fast in there on the decor, and it really looked pretty good from the outside. Its no longer a sports/thug-wannabe hangout, they're looking to have the reputation of a family restaurant with nice bar area. There will be no more kiddie "Club Underwear" going on there either....LOL. The menu looked really nice, reasonably priced for the dishes, nightly specials, and it smelled delicious!
I am said hostess. I just wanted to stop in and see what kinda stuff is being said. Richard Stevens and his son Curtis Stevens are the owners. I will be comeing back on here from time to time. I think I might get a list of the specials and post them for yall to see and know ahead of time. Just so yall know we are open Monday through Thursday from 11am-11pm, and on Friday and Saturday we are open from 11am-2am. On Fridays and Saturdays from 11pm-2am you can order appatizers from the kitchen but it will not be a full menu. This could possibly change if enough requests come in for food past 11pm. I am there pretty much every day from open to close. Im usually on the floor working where ever I am needed, I am the one in the red Lock Stock and Barrel shirt. Oh, we also do togo orders. So come out and join us for lunch or dinner. We hope to see you soon.
In the 2nd phase of Clayton Crossing shopping center, where Lowes Food is on Hwy 70 in Clayton. Its directly behind the Rockin' Comet diner, KFC/TacoHell.....next to LaCocina, Bonsai, and Smoker Friendly.
Not so sure you want to post the specials, that would be considered advertising since you are an employee of theirs, which is a no-no unless you talk to Webbie first. Maybe the owners would be interested in talking to the Webbie about some advertising space on the front page. But welcome to the board, nice to know there are local businesses who like to keep an eye on their word of mouth advertisers! LOL
oh thanks for telling me...I really dont want to get us in trouble...I will talk to the owners and see if they would like to advertise on here.
I don't think it would be advertising if someone were to ask if anyone had a phone number to the restaurant so that one might call and ask what the specials were if they were interested. SO... does anyone happen to know the phone # for Lock Stock & Barrel??
