Does anyone know what happened to Alicia, the original manager/owner of Pizza Inn. Haven't seen her in a long time and lately I've seen a whole new crew working there.

I don't think she has owned it in a year or so,.

She moved to Florida with her husband. No offense to anyone who like them, but I knew them personally and I say good riddance!

If you are talking about the Pizza Inn up at 40/42, then thats good news, they have new management....I wouldn't have taken my dog in there as of late....if there is a new manager, maybe I will give it another whirl.

The quality HAS gone downhill as of late, I went a month or so ago and it was the pits. I'll try it again though if they've switched management, I love their crust.

I love the chocolate pizzerts, but was not happy with the looks of the place and some of the employees had no clue what they were doing! Let me know if you guys go and it is ok again!! LOL

DITTO!! My kids love a pizza buffet too but every time we go, we spend forever waiting for more pizza to come out. And then, when it does, it's like a swarm of ants jump on it. I hate nearly having to FIGHT to get to the pizza.:x

Anybody know who the new owner is?

My wife likes it, but I agree with what everyone has said. Sometimes it takes forever to get pizza and the place just feels DIRTY at times.

My complaints about the Pizza Inn at 40/42 are this. I hate having to Pay first, and secondly If all they really want to offer is the buffet then they better keep the thing stocked and I mean STOCKED.

If I really get a craving for the Pizza Inn pizaa (hardly ever happens) I'll drive myself down to the one in Selma/Smithfield as it has always been 10 times better than the crap at 40/42.

Every time I walk into CiCi's I want to carry a chair and bullwhip like the old time lion tamers. Too many rug rats running rampant in that place.

We went to PI tonight and it was very good. Much better than before. The buffet stayed well-stocked and the waitress kept our glasses filled. Before, we would have to fill our own. She also asked our opinion on the quality of the buffet. I think they are really trying. I say let's give them a 2nd chance. Although, I would love to have a CiCi's closer because they would be our first choice. I LOVE their spinach pizza!!!!!!

my grandsons and i went yesterday and as always there was NO pizza on the buffet. people sitting around waiting for food. when i saw new management sign i thought it would be better...but it was not yesterday. However, we got there about 1pm so maybe that was the reason. anyway, there was still a lot of people trying to eat. will not go for a while..(i have learned to never say never) smile.

We decided to give pizza inn another try tonight and were very pleased. The pizza was well stocked on the bar and the waitress kept our glasses filled. We remarked about the different atmosphere. I went there one night several months ago and there was no pizza and when it came out it was gone before it hit the bar. Tonight was a pleasant experience and we told the manager on the way out. He said they were trying to turn it around. Tonight they did an excellent job!!!!

My daughter loves it, I hate it. It's loud and my stomach hurts afterwards. I don't know why..but their pizza does something to me.
