Yep, kids do the same thing. Call my house at 11? I get on them and tell them not to call after 9:00, then I wake my daughter up and get on her about not telling her friends this.

I can't believe school started today! I am excited for my son but sad at the same time. My baby is growing up!!! In addition to one starting school today, my youngest starts Kindergarten next week too. I am really going to be an emotional wreck:-( So happy for them though!!

Kids! Gotta love 'em! I had to get on mine about asking me when "so and so" could come over, when "so and so" was staning RIGHT there! Ugg! This is a kid who has been over before for "playdates" but has not reciprocated. Whatta you do??

Bus came 10 minutes earlier than it was suppose to so my son missed it. It was an adventure taking him to school. Tail end of the van was sticking out onto 50 after I turned onto 210. That is how long the line was to get into the school!

My parents did the same thing to me BUT they wouldn't wake me up. They just wouldn't let me talk to them. I would hear about it at school the next day "hey Koo, your ma wouldn't let me talk to you last night." So embarrassing! The friends picked up pretty quick and passed the word along.

AWmom: I'm right there with ya... baby girl starting daycare and baby boy kindergarten... Growing up way too fast!

I am not sure where these folks are shopping and what they are buying, I spent a grand total of $46.55 at Target on Saturday for two 11 year olds back to school stuff. :-D

I was thinking about just sending paper and pencils with my kids and tell them to stick their hands out and say "My mama & papa are so po' that we can't even afford underwear!"
