I know it's awfully late, but there's a full moon/lunar eclipse tonite - visible in between 4 and 5am Tuesday morning when the moon passes in to the Earth's shadow. http://shadowandsubstance.com/
Thanks elims - i have been outside and the Moon is beautiful but i doubt i will be up looking at it around 4am:lol:
Hehehe... it should be pretty, the moon should either turn a bright orange or a 'blood red', instead of getting blacked out. I'm not sure if I'll care at 4am, or not .... we'll see!!
It's pretty orange right now. IF I manage to get up, I'll see it. Thanks for the notification, hon. Frogger
Cool site! I was looking at the link at the bottom about the next total solar eclipse... thinking of the last one, I remember thinking how old I'd be for the next one (in 2017) if I were even still alive! LOL
well the first time, I was a little teeny youngun! Back in the 70's The sky started going black and I ran home from playing outside thinking the world was about to end!
Geez, i was a youngun back in the 70's too (not as young as you:-D) but i am having a hard time remembering it (maybe it is the 40something menopause thing that is clouding my memory:lol::lol::lol Hopefully you and i both will be around next time to enjoy it:-D
Well, I missed it last night/this morning. I didn't set my clock or anything. Woke up at 5:15, lol. Frogger
