Ahhhh Lemmy from Motorhead, a true Ace of Spades....so many warts so little time..... I was and am a fan of all 3 kinds of metal, the 'old school' to which you referred, the big hair and then the Slayer/Testament/ Pantera (and a gazillion others) metal. All different phases of my life. :mrgreen:

Ummm lets not forget Helmet, slipknot, Black Light Burn, Megadeth, Gnarkill...the list goes on and on. I just love the rif master Zakk and BLS.
GWAR?? Really? I wouldn't classify any hairband metal but a few were light metal. Skid Row should have been alot bigger!! Of course Crue!! That's about it.
I love metal. Old school for me is Priest, Maiden, AC/DC, Metallica and the like.. I don't like a lot of hair, Bon Jovi, Poison etc are a bunch of pretty boys. Metal ain't pretty. I love BLS, Static X was killer at Ozzfest, I like some of the new bands like In This Moment, The Showdown, Hatebreed, Adema, Soil, Staind. As a joke I would love to make a death metal song with some obnoxious name, with unitelligible lyrics about puppies, kitten, bunnies, fluffy clouds etc just to see if anyone pick up on it. Most black metal songs I have no idea what they are sating anyway
