I understand frusteration. I sure understand lack of sleep, but these are just babies. Put them in the crib and let them cry. Walk outside for a timeout! I just don't understand....
They need to be hung up high in the middle of town, I think some old time punishment might help these idiots think twice...
While I agree with the punishment, I disagree that it will have an impact. I don't think anyone would ever say, "You know, I was going to slam my baby on the ground, but then I remembered that I would be hung up high in the middle of town." Do you? Punishment is punishment and should be meted out as such. Don't ever believe that punishment is a deterrent when emotion and sanity come into play.
I don't understand it either. I remember being exhausted for days, because the baby was sick and I'd only slept a couple hours in 2-3 days and I'd get frustrated and cry. I never thought of doing those things to any child, much less my own. Some people shouldn't have children and some parents need to make better decisions who they are going to leave their children with.
The parents of the child are very good friends with my boss. They have known this woman for years and are completely in shock. I have said it before.....there is a special place in hell for people that hurt children!!!!
I refuse to read/watch/listen to anything that has anything to do with children being hurt, exploited, or otherwise. Heart can't take it.
That's a better idea. One of you devil's advocates better not give me crap about it either. An eye for an eye, especially when it comes to children.
I'd be willing to bet that 3 out of these 4 people mentioned abused animals at one time. . .that's how they start off. 'Normal' people don't abuse children. This woman and the others mention need to suffer some serious punishment. There is no excuse for what any of them did. I only hope that this poor baby will not suffer any permanent damage if he survives.

the father of the baby used to be my boss at my previous job and the girl who was charged was a co-worker ... its crazy how things happen and with people you would never think would do something like that to a child. I guess you never really know someone.
