How can I can a phone number for someone if I only know there address? I had a package sent and for some reason they delivered it to my old address! (paypal screwed up) i want to contact the person living there before I just show up. I intend on going there later today. It is probaly just sitting there on the door step and this is driving me nuts! It's a dress I bought for my daughter and possibly a copper item I purchased. THis is making me crazy..... what if they give me a hard time?

They should...its not addressed to them. Or they could lie and say that they haven't recieved anything. Good Luck Ro
Surely they will give it to you but I wish I had seen this before I was out and about. I would have gone over and package-napped it for ya!
AAARRRGG!!! no I can't get the person on the phone... I went to the house yesterday after work and no one answered.... I found out where the person might work and called upthere and they were not in.... I am never going to get the dress!!!! argh any suggestions???
go back and leave them a note on the door and or mailbox....obviously the dress wasn't outside for you to get.....that's about all you can do. I guess 'track' it too, to find out if its even been delivered yet.
did you change the address before you shipped, I would probably call the company and see if they can help you somehow
it was paypals fault. Somehow it switched the last two things I purchased to my old address and I have no idea why. I called the post office and they said that it should not be delivered and it should be sent back but I somehow don't believe them. I know I get drop shipments and no one ever questions anything.(moms stuff)
If it's going by mail, and you moved within the last 6 months, the P.O. should forward it to your new address. If it's more than 6 months since you moved, they should send it back, marked "FOE" (forwarding order expired). Of course, mistakes happen, and it could still be delivered to your old address, so I can understand your concern. Have you left a note for them? Good luck with it!
I am going to go by there agin this evening and leave a note. The guy who lives there may actually be a friend of a friend so I may stand a chance. According to the post office it hasn't been delivered yet. - I don't trust them either..lol i am trying to get info and get intouch with the people who live there. I lived ther almost three years ago and deactivated that address o nmy paypal account but somehow it showed up.
