Can anyone recommend a good exterminator? I have seen 1 to many centipedes and a few ants....I thought I had gotten rid of the ants, but I now see one here and there. We haven't had our house professionaly sprayed for bugs since we moved in....4 years ago....can anyone recommend a good company with reasonable prices. Thanks
Just out of curiosity, do you have a basement? Reason I ask is because the only place I've lived that had a basement, had problems with centipedes. I will tell you that I've had good luck with regular ant traps from Lowes. Can't remember the name, but they are rectangular and clear. They have some sort of sweet poison that will attract them and kill them. Seems like if I put them outside near the house, they go to that instead of coming inside. One thing I thought I'd inject here as well since discussing bugs is to be VERY careful when bringing in cardboard boxes into your house. I bought a couple of items from Wal-Mart awhile back that came in boxes. I left the boxes in the house for a couple of days and noticed two or three cockroaches near the boxes! Now, I'm crossing my fingers I won't see any more after squishing them and immediately removing the cardboard boxes. Who knows what is crawling around in these store warehouses? I'd strongly suggest removing items out of boxes and getting them out of your house as quickly as possible.
