    big thumbs up for lsb!

went in at about 7 on saturday night. unfortunately very few people...but a nice place. food was fantastic and reasonably priced. wife got a grilled tuna on sourdough sandwich (daily special) for 7.95, came with a house salad and baked potato. it was excellent.

i had the bacon burger, 6.95 with fries. very, very good. plus two 16 oz draft budweisers only 99 cents each

the boy had chicken strips kids meal, two strips with fries 3.95. he killed every bite. we thought there probably should have been 3 strips instead of two, honestly

biggst complaint was with the shopping center itself. all the parking lot lights were out. none of the lights over the sidewalk in the whole center were on. the whole place was dark and looked closed.

on the other hand, this did not seem to affect la cocina, which was slammed.

i encourage everybody to try lock stock and barrel if you get a chance. would be nice to see something besides a chain restaurant (most of which are overrated and overpriced and overcrowded) survive around here.

    support your local restaurants!

oh, and the service was great, too. thanks crystal!

    Where is it?

Also, do they have a non-smoking section?

I go at least once a week. They are having a slow start but they say it's slowly picking up. It is very nice to have something with a little variety rather than a theme (Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, etc.) in the area.

Try the Shrimp stir-fry. It's the best thing I have had so far. Pizza no good.

OK, so everyone knows where it is, it's in Brooklyn Sal's old location (and McGoo's, and Kai's, and Fishman's) That being said , for location purposes only, YES, try them out . The food is good and reasonably priced and they are try to pick up their bar business as well. Wife and I went in last night(SAturday) about 12:30-1:00AM, they had Karaoke and ALL draft beers were $.99--16 OZ at that. Give them a chance, help this one stay there!

I went and checked it out. I had a steak sandwich and fries. It was pretty good. The 99 cent drafts of course are great. Unfortunately, it was a Saturday night about 9:00 and my friend and I were the only ones in the restaurant. We left. I'll check it out again though. If more people go it will be cooler.
