A GREAT BIG THANK YOU TO THE CLAYTON POLICE DEPARTMENT!!! Update: I got off work today and was driving home when I received a phone call from the detective in charge of my case (I won't mention his name, as I don't know if I'm allowed to do so). My GPS unit was found and was waiting at the PD for me to come by and pick up. Last week I was watching the news and saw that some guys had been busted breaking into cars in an apartment complex in Raleigh. I thought, "Wouldn't it be cool if those were the guys who hit me?" It was them! They were busted with a whole bunch of stuff, including my GPS. It still had the charger and suction cup attached. Even my stored addresses were still in it (but "Home" had been changed). At any rate, once more... Thanks ever so much to the CPD.
WOW!!!! you are very fortunate, Locked doors only keep honest people out. Glad you got your GPS back.
Clif, you musta been livin' right for sure....that almost never happens! I am very happy that your goods have been recovered!
Funny that "home" had been changed. You gonna be making a visit to the newly programmed home or just wait to see them in orange jumpsuits?
According to the detective, they have already been charged. And "Home" has been changed back. The changed "Home" was on Fearington St. Anyone know where that is?
All I could find was: Fearrington Village is in Chatham County, in the Durham metro area. The latitude of Fearrington Village is 35.803N. The longitude is -79.09W. It is in the Eastern Standard time zone. Elevation is 436 feet. at epodunk. Google shows that it may be a misspelling of Farington or Farrington.
You're right about Fearington Village (it's where the oreo cows are). I believe the mis-spellings are what I meant.
Well that's just great. I'm starvin', sittin here jones'n for some bbq... now ya got me wanting cookies and milk!
Oh, oh, oh, ice cold milk and an Oreo Cookie They forever go together, what a classic combination When a dark, delicious cookie meets an icy cold sensation Like the one and only creamy, crunchy, chocolaty, O-R-E-O
