Just finished the last Harry Potter.

Need to go to the Library... I love the true crime, CSI type books too.

 

I am reading the book Denise Jackson (Alan Jackson's wife) wrote about their marriage....it is really good.

 

I usually have several books going at one time...and grab the one that I'm currently in the mood for - or in the need for. Right now, I've got bookmarks residing in:

• The Autobiography of Henry VIII: With Notes by His Fool, Will Somers by Margaret George
• Googie: Fifties Coffee Shop Architecture, by Alan Hess
• Mastering the Requirements Process, by Suzanne Robertson and James Robertson (work related)

 

Smotherhood by WRAL's Amanda Lamb

It is a funny and fast read for busy moms.

The Memory Keeper's Daughter.

Just finished The Road by Cormat McCarthy and Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides--BOTH EXCELLENT!

 

Not really, but I struggled through it. Some how his fact doesn't read quite as 'interestingly' as his fiction.

 

"What to Expect The First Year" WAS my bible back then!

Just finished Janet Evanovich's latest in the Stephanie Plum series... laugh out loud funny. Getting started on the newest James Patterson tonight. Also reading in Genesis. (Getting started on reading the Bible through again. I think the last time I did that I was in middle school.)

So far, it's wonderful. I got it as a two-book gift set. The other book is Cleopatra, and I can't wait to get to that one too!

 

I disliked that one the most. Interesting but boring.
