I never even made it through the Da Vinci Code. Don't know why, but I didn't like it. I've been reading a lot of Larry McMurtry books lately. They really are good. I usually just pick an author at the library and start making my way through all their books.

Just wrapped up "Digital Fortress" and it's right up there with his others, compelling read, hard to put down. Along the Knights Templar theme, you might start with "Angels and Demons', although "Deception Point really grabbed hold right from the start! Dan Brown is one of my favorite authors, now I just need another one!

Nah, not new. Think the copyright was '97 or '98. I get all my books from the second hand store so it is rare that I am reading anything hot off the press!

Laid back at the beach, I typically read a book every 2-3 days, depending on my level of interest and other activities. First time in a LONG time that I started and finished in the same day. Lady at the library recommended David Baldacci. Picked up "Hour Game" at the Goodwill yesterday. Gonna give it a try next.

I just read all of the Harry Potter books again lol, and I'm just about ready to finish a Nora Roberts book. I do most of my reading on my breaks at work and lunch at work..we have a smoke room and it keeps me out of trouble if I read and no one bothers me lol..and at night it helps me go to sleep better.
I read fast, and I wish there was a used book store in our area so I could trade them out.

I love the Outlander series, but the first Lord John book just didn't do much for me. PM me with your review of the new book, if you get a chance. And wasn't she working on a contemporary mystery at one point?

Just finished the latest by Tess Gerritsen "The Bone Garder" - Loved it! This one was not centered on Dr. Isles or any of her other usual characters. It is set in New England. Much more of a historical novel (1830) with a modern day parallel story also, Loads of flash backs...

I think this is her 11th book. Read them all!

    Love your local Library!!!
    :)
