Just started using Bare Minerals this week. Do any of you ladies use this also? Do you love it? What order do you put everything on? So far so good....took some getting used to....made me feel like I was not wearing any make up at all.
I DO I DO I DO!!!!! It took some getting use to the stuff bc I was wearing Clinique Liquid foundation and powder! I love the stuff!!! My skin looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better and feels SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better!!!!
oh and i do the lotion then the vail then i have started mixing the lighter and the darker minerals together then the glow and vail again. but since i have bought the kit a few months back i have also purchased the eye shadow, glee and i am wanting to get the "primer" that just came out not too long ago.
The trick is less is best. Start with your minerals concealer - use a small brush and take care of under eye area and any spots/shadows/discolorations - don't try to cover it completely - just lessen it's noticibility - your foundation will take care of the rest. Apply your foundation powder - be sure to swirl and TAP - or you will get a blotch of color - many people find applying with a circular motion with a kubuki (sp?) brush works best. Take a foundation just slightly darker than your first and do your contour areas lightly - just barely noticable (it's a good idea to mix this with the lighter one and blend your chin-neck area) Do your eye shadow and liner now - the foundation color will help keep your shadow in place, so this order helps. (save mascara till last when done with everything else) Apply your cheek color - sparingly --use one of the blush colors OR the warmth (like a bronzer) both is overkill - if the blush shade or the warmth is too dark for you, mix in a little of the mineral veil (finishing dust) it will subdue the color. Apply mineral veil to entire face - lightly Mascara and lipstick and you are done. It takes about 10 minutes to do a good job once you get used to it. If you buy it at the Ulta store, you get big points for it, so every couple of purchases earn you free products or discounts.
not real sure, I will have to check but its light and when I use the brush to put it on it really doesnt feel like I have anything.. So far no breakouts and been using for several weeks, I was using loreal and switched...
i think it does a great job on coverage. i did buy the summer bisque minerals which is the the thicker conceler it love it too!
BareMinerals is the best thing ever....I love it and will never, ever go back to liquid foundations...... Estee Lauder moisturizers and creams and anti-aging products...as long as I live.
that was me too! i was using loreal and then went to clinique and loved the foundation that was in the plastic bottle (cant think of the name) but it made me break out as well after time.
I'll let you know which it is and so far no breakouts and I am bad about not removing my makeup at night(I know, shame) but sometimes I just drop.. but I so love the mositurizer as well...
that is bad!! if you like their moisturizer then try their 3 step cleaning products its the liquid soap astrengent and the lotion! i do still use that and love it!
Oh I have the 3 step, I wanted it all but it would have been over 400 for the who thing, so I got the 3 step and all my make up, I will add the other a little at the time... she did give me some good samples of the makeup remover and some other things
I was an Estee Lauder girl and tried the Bare Minerals a few months ago and love it! It took me about a week or so to get accustomed to it but now I love it! I do not use the warmth but I use all the rest! It cut down my make-up time in half which is a good thing too!! I think it is great and if you do not like that heavy make up look or feel then it is just the best! I had to watch the DVD that came with it to make sure I was doing it right at first though! LOL
