And I surely respect your views as well, Hat. Sorry if I seemed to take offense. I understand that things are not always as they appear in the news, that's been proven over and over again lately.

I agree w/you about the Sheriff, sounded like he came straight from Mayberry. 8)

It is sad the law was ever passed which limits this product. The mass public is being restricted because a few use it illegally. What if CVS was running a good sale and the teacher opted to stock up knowing it was a product she and her family would use? What if she forgot she had a box or two at home and decided to pick up some more while she was shopping?

Just FYI- Sudafed PE, which does not include pseudoephedrine. Sudafed PE contains a different decongestant called phenylephrine. So she was getting the stuff you have to sign for...You can buy Sudafed all day long by the cart load, without signing for it. Thats the sole reason I use it. It doesn't contain the stuff for meth making.

So she was definitely buying the stuff you have to show ID for. She was also NOT buying it for the classroom. Teacher's aren't allowed to dispurse medicines to children.

Just a few 'facts' to add to the 'witch hunt'

While Sudafed PE is available without signing for it, it simply does not work very well for my family. We always get the stuff that you have to sign for b/c its the only stuff that truely works for us.

I will not post judgement on her until more info comes out. I know that it has really made me stop and calculate how much I should buy in a month. I will be much more careful in the future.

Why do you think he sounded like he was from Mayberry?? Because he was stating facts about these people and their lifestyles???

No, it was his exagerated accent. I'm as country as it gets, BTW.

Kinda hard to to need so many pills if really think about it though. You have to give your name address and so on to buy this, and you can buy 96 pills at a time legally with in 30 days! That makes you one sick person! LOL
And a doctor can ALWAYS write you a prescription if you need more then that legal amount! If you go thru 96 pills in 15 days or so, I think you need to see a doctor becuase you have a kick butt allergy! LOL

You know, I don't think anything I say at this point will matter. I have my opinion, you have yours. Others share mine, just as I'm sure others share yours. ;)

You can buy up to 3.6 grams in one day, and up to 9 grams in 30 days. So you could actually buy that 96 pill pack every 10 days. One pill is 30 mg, so it would take 300 pills to equal 9 grams. (1000 mg = 1 gram)

That is the way he talks all the time. I don't know if the woman did wrong or not. I think its strange she bought that much. Who knows these days all teachers are not good ,look back last year wasn't a teacher at the same school charged with having sex with a 5th grader? I may have my schools mixed up? As far as the Bizzel I know him too. He has done some great things in this county but he also has let alot of crap slide with his own people. I know for a fact he needs to clean house !!!!! I should mention names of who he needs to clean out in his own office but I won't. He really needs to explain to his deputies what the laws are cause I think a few have forgotten what side of the law they are suppose to be on.

Its the same problem with codeine cough syrup. Codeine is one of the best cough suppressants and helps you sleep when you have a cold. But because of a few morons who drink it by the bottle, the rest of us have to cough all night until we can see a doctor ...by which time the cough is gone.

Sure for one person ... but she could need it for other family members as well ... maybe even picking it up for an extended family member. Maybe she is a "smart spender" ...found a good deal and stocked up not knowing about the limits.
