In case you've missed it, we've been adding to the list of games here on 4042.com and the play has been furious! A number of 4042er's are locked in a struggle to reach and maintain the high score in various games.

Our current high score holders are:

Mini Golf - "jbg8" tied with "bigen" at a score of 39000

Solitaire - "troop" with a score of 45560

Soduko - "bigen" holds the lead with 46300

Bouncing Balls - "P" with an amazing score of 60200

X-Box? We don't need no stinkin' X-box!! Game on!

Well, if your DH is, so is mine! He's already finished the new Halo 3, and that stupid game was $70 for the limited edition one.

Yep, mostly with his brothers, they are all losers, LOL. J/K if you see this honey!

Oh, and my sis's DH beat it in 5.5 hours, he's the biggest loser of all, he was TICKED!

OMG 5.5 hours (I'm assuming straight through) of playing Halo!!:lol:
We need to set the "boys" up for a play date!

Does the little earphone pieces they talk into trip you out or what?
When he walks outside to take a smoke break I look at him and say "Thank you for call AT&T how may I direct your call..."

He'll wave at me and point at it like they can hear you too honey! I care.

Oh yeah, a play date sounds like fun for them, LOL.

The earpiece IS pretty funny! What's even funnier is my 8 year old on there! He was beating the adults the other night!

Before anyone jumps on me, the game is not "bloody" and it's "guy time" at our house. All the brothers and cousins get on at the same time, great bonding time!

You guys are scaring the dog poop outta me! Oldest DS wants a gaming system but we have put it off for THIS reason. I'm more worried about DH living on it. I mean, I can discipline DS, but DH....hmmmwell....I guess I CAN do that too - if need be. j/k

Back in the day, I bought my kids a Nintendo. My wife become ever so upset with me when I would pull an all-nighter playing Zelda.

Since I seem to be among the top 1000 somewhere I may never see the top 50 names listed.

The Solitaire thing, I just can't figure out. I can't figure out how it's scoring differently, that's why I lost my #1 spot! LOL

And that bouncing balls thing is too danged addictive. I think I'm gonna get fired for playing it too much.

Solitaire doesn't come up on my computer in Firefox, but it does in IE. All the rest of the games work for me in Firefox. No clue why that is.

Yep When hubby got tired of Halo2 he got back into Battlefield... he got the joy stick thingy, which I am sure it will come back out of storage. He's a real shoot'em up freak too.

And OMG Zelda! I haven't played that in years BUT we just got hubby's old Nintendo system back and he has all the games. Zelda, Contra, Contra 2, Duck Hunt, Galica (sp)... many more.
Him and the kiddo are lovin' it.

So many choices so little time!

The 4042.com Games come in a variety of formats - Java, Javascript, CGI. Depending on what is installed on your PC (including pop-up blockers, firewalls and other "protection" software) you may find that some of the games won't run for you. All the newest games we are releasing were created in Flash, so your best bet is to make sure you have the latest Adobe flash plugin for your browser. You can find that here:
    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

If there is a particular game giving you trouble, let me know and we'll check it out for you.

    Thanks!
