Any retail places around here to pick up a nice airsoft gun, besides Dick's? I'm looking for electric, not CO2.

No, we really wanted to look at them in person - and need it soon.

I dunno, it might be kind of dangerous to have an airsoft war wearing Birkenstocks... ;)

You might also try (gasp) Wally World. They used to carry stuff like that and paint ball guns.

Oddly enough I used to own one of these when I was stationed in England. What was wierd is that the law prevented them selling them as a complete gun, but they could sell kits, that required assembly. And unlike a lot of the ones I have seen here in the US they were full size, life like, with no markings that would lead you to believe it was a toy (such as red/orange muzzle). The one that I used to have was modeled after the US Army Colt 45, but they had MP-5's, m-16's, desert eagles, and the like. And they were all VERY realistic looking.

OK, called all those places. They do not carry them, called other places - they don't either. I know Dick's has them, Wally World probably does too... I was looking for better quality though, like something that the Dixie Gun & Knife show might have (which is where we got the other one). There is an Oriental Shop at Triangle Town Center that had some nice ones, pricey - but nice.

    Thanks for your help.

    CO2 >>> electric

  14. Don't ever buy any wal-mart guns!!
The nearest airsoft store that sells guns worth buying would be either Airsoft Atlanta or Trinity Airsoft in Virginia.

    airsoft

Dick's sporting goods at white oak has plenty.

  16. Dick's does have some good ones. The automatic electric MP5 they have is an aftermath, and some are good, while others are terrible. My friend, over a 6 month period, bought and broke 5 of them. He was not some careless kid that didn't know what he was doing, he just got very unlucky and a lot of lemons.
