Anyone going to this Thursday...?

i wish more had carpooled too i was late for work this morning sitting in that traffic

 

The noon news said that most didn't. That's $10 a pop to park for 18,000 people. If even ½ carpooled that would be at least $9,000 for parking ... How much were tickets?...

 

dammit! I CAN do math! "it" won't let me "edit"! LOL

 

Well, I hope they all eat alot! The West BPA is working concessions out there today. :lol:

 

I was there at 7:00 AM! :shock: Was really enjoying myself, caught up w/Harley and was having a blast, then the school called. So here I am, with a kiddo that isn't really sick, but you can't take chances. Apparently even if they only upchuck once, and even if they aren't running a fever, you have to come get them. Dang his strong gag reflex. I REALLY wanted to hear Colin Powell. I am SO disappointed. :-(

Now before anyone jumps on me, I wouldn't have minded if he was actually sick, but he's not..........it takes nothing to make him upchuck.

 

Poor kid ... a sympathy puker ... I can relate. Sorry about you missing Colin Powell...

Thanks to Bren and Harley - was outside working on hottub and pool and then cooking out yesterday afternoon and evening and didn't get the message from Harley or see the post from Bren until too late to call anyone back:-( i actually thought about calling ya Bren yesterday but figured you would let me know - my laziness and i guess i paid for it.

When i got up the am and heard about all the traffic i knew it was a lost cause. Hope you guys had a great time and would love to hear the reviews.

Yeah, you do, bless his little heart...............kids are more important than any seminar! But anyway..................what I did get to hear was really good. Hope I get a chance to go again sometime.

She probably won't see this till midnight from what the traffic looks like on WRAL, maybe I'm glad I had to leave early. :shock:

 

Oh man, what a freaking day!!!! That's EXACTLY what I needed - to get my *** in gear. We have so many things on the burners, just not on the front one.

I'm motivated to make millions now. Watch out everyone, you may be paying to see me speak at one of these events! Ya'll know I can talk!! :lol:

KDC, It was wonderful talking with you while I was in traffic and in the parking lot and trying to find you :lol: Good thing we ran into each other and got to sit together, because I would have been bored. :mrgreen: I hope the kids feeling better. I missed you during the 2nd half. :-(

General Powell raised the damn ROOF!!!! What a great speaker, he tells the funniest stories and talks with his hands like I do! ALOT! :lol:

The guy after him was Don Jorgenson who talked about eliminating your debt... yada yada yada. BUT almost everyone left after Gen. Powell spoke and left the stage. I feld bad for the guy so I stayed for a little while longer. Had some good tips for getting rid of debt.

I had a GREAT time! My dream (really I had this dream) didn't come true though. Gen Powell was supposed to take me out to dinner, DH is taking me out though. That's even better! :mrgreen:

Can't believe you got home that quick!!

 

Took 20 mins to get home VS the 45 it took me to get there this am :shock: YIKES!

The parking lot was pretty empty since everyone left after the General spoke, so getting out was a breeze.

So so so sorry i missed it and thank you again so much for trying for me - i gotta get one of those belt hooks or something to keep my phone on me all the time when i am at home - way too often i just stick it on the charger upstairs and don't think about it till i go to bed.
