I see that Four Oaks is having their fall festival the last Saturday of this month. What goes on at this festival? Anyone going?
hmmmmmmmm.......Wonder if part of Bragg's name contained the word "Oak" if they would have a play on words and call it Oaktoberfest also?
The morning starts with lots of yard sales all over town!!! Anyone can have space at FO Elementary School parking lot. Downtown merchants will have sales going on as well and there will be lots of stuff for children to do. The entertainment starts at 11:00 in Barbour's Grove Park across from the Post Office on Baker Street. Chamber members are selling 50/50 raffle tickets for $1.00 each and winner gets to split the amount with the Chamber. Tickets are being sold for a John Deere tractor for $10.00 each. This is the 3rd year and it gets bigger and better each year....should be lots of fun. For more info you can log on to the FO Chamber of Commerce web site or it might be the Four Oaks web site.
