The new Japanese Restaurant opened today in White Oak - Kaze Steak House....

 

Well.. its about time... they've been working on that place for whats seemed like forever. I swear we shipped all the acoustical material (ceiling tile & grid systems) back in the early spring.

they had all kinds of issues with the Fire Marshal, being a hibachi style place, everytime they would light the rice, the sprinklers went off....


well not quite, but you get my drift and it has been Fire Marshal issues that has delayed the opening. I was at the Play-n-trade on Saturday, right beside it, and heard those guys talking about it.

I can't WAIT to try it out! :mrgreen:

 

Well the fire marshall thing makes sense... LOL I did think it was taking FOREVER though. I saw the Grand Opening sign today!! It looks like today is the first day!

 

OMG! My husband missed our turn into BJ's so we had to go up that way and I saw the Grand Opening sign and just about passed out. I can't wait to try the food, LOVE ME SOME JAPANESE FOOD!!!!!!!:lol:

Kellbell how did the second interview go?

 

Girl, it went really well!! I am super excited....I hope to know something in the next day or two....I know it was down to me and one other and she showed up 15 minutes late. :shock: I, on the other hand, was 15 minutes early.

It's mandatory for background checks now, even transfers on campus, so I am hoping for that call tomorrow, asking me to sign the permission slipper!
