Good one, Craig! Hey Cleo... hubby does a little cat huntin' You want me to send him over? He needs some target practice. 8)
Oh Koo... now she'll be picketing my house! Please confirm that was a joke. It was a joke... right? <wink>
I'm staying away from looking at it, having hubby work nights and all. Really missed myself up last night watching that show on lifetime, both girls went to bed and wouldn't watch it with me.
sorry SS... I had to laugh at your expense on that one! I'll have to let DH spend extra time with the kitty later on. ROFLMAO....
No, I considered it. But principle set in, and I REFUSE to purchase any product other than a trap to protect my property from irresponsible pet owners. I would spend 25.00 a MONTH on that stuff. Here, I only spent 25.00 once. Let them go spend money to get their cats from the JCAPL.
Understand, I guess I would feel the same way. Although I would trap them and carry them to Durham....LOL
Can you cover the sandbox so the cats can't get to the sand? Won't keep them away from your garden, but at least away from where your kids play.
Why do cat owners believe it is OK to allow their cats to have free roaming priveleges in the neighboorhood? I hate cats! I have a problem with neighbor cats coming into my yard all the time and running my birds off. I feed the birds, the cats come hunting, and I am the bad one for getting upset about the cats running loose. I just do not understand this thinking.
Is JCAPL in Clayton? If so, they are never there. How do you get them to take a cat once you trap it?
I like cats, dogs, etc. but I HATE irresponsible pet owners who think their pets should be allowed to roam freely! They don't come in my back yard, because my dogs would kill the cats. In my old neighborhood, they would crawl on top of my car and scratch it and crap in my kids sandbox. I hated it!
Why would a homeowner have to cover their sandbox? The problem is the neighbor's cat should not be in anyone's else's yard. Why can't cat owners be responsible?
I have covered it in the past with a tarp and ditch rock, but they just get under it - and then the dog tears it up.
