So Dawn in reference to the Subs. if its out of the City limits the Max speed is 55 if it is not posted otherwise, so for all those in Subs look to see if its posted if not contact DOT about getting a sign up if you are on a state maintained road...
the original yes, but we where just stating that on back roads with unmarked speed limits the limit is 55, sorry if we got anyone confused
I persoanlly have never seen a city that does not have one of those signs posted some where (generally when you enter the city limits) that says max 25 or 35 unless otherwise posted... So in the city I can not say about the 55 MPH rule because I have always seen the other signs but I do not always pay attention to them. (Truly all the cities I have noticed say that, but I promise I am not saying that is the rule for all cities) LOL LOL Especially if little 2 stop light Agier has one when you enter on hwy 55! LOL The only reason I know this is my hubby got a ticket in Raleigh with no speed limit sign and we found out the law the hard way. Also my Aunt is a law emforcement trainer and her hubby is ex LTD with highway Patrol ( uggh and I was once engaged to Raleigh officer UGGGHHH) LOL so I had to ask them the laws and the attorney we hired too! LOL

maybe what happened to me will happen to you. received a ticket for my inspection sticker being expired, SHP told me that it would probably be dismissed when I went to court on my court date and it sure was by the DA, seems that the courtroom that was assigned for this type violation as well as others was way too booked for the day and they didn't have time for this little stuff, so he dismissed it. saved me $130 :lol:

This was the funniest example of not understanding MINIMUM. "Okay grandma ...the sign says 45 so you must take this curve at 45 MPH. I don't want to hear your lame*** excuses about rain, fog, or darkness. Put the pedal to the metal!" :lol::lol::lol:
OMG excuse me it should have read "recommend speed" not minimum and yes dumb arse I know the difference!
