Where, in the posted article, do you see anything about condoms? Given what I've read in the article, as well as what I have heard about Mr. Escamilla's religious beliefs, if he was talking about sex education in relation to the world wide AIDS crisis, he would have been pushing abstinence. In any event, I'm glad that you don't get to sit in on the jury. I'd rather have someone who sticks to the facts, rather than presumptions based on their own preconceived notions.
I saw the word CONDOMS & Birth Control on some sort of graphic that was part of his course handouts, maybe an overhead - It was in the context of dealing with world history issues.
It does seem rather out of character. Perhaps y'all could provide a link. I mean, it's hard enough to believe that a conservative-Christian teacher would promote condoms. It's even harder to believe that the only proof that he did was displayed in the TV news, but not on anyone's website.
