The gun is NOT sterilized every time. Glad you didnt get hepatitus or something.;) The virus for that can stay on the surface for days.

    That could work well;)

Ken, you do need a daughter. You and the wife gonna have more wee ones:?:

Love your "cleaning the gun" comment on the other thread. That's what DH says he's gonna do. Here's a good one too. DH says that the first "serious" boy to come calling, he's gonna show him a bullet from a HP rifle and say "son, you see this bullet"...boy says "yes sir" (cause if he says yeah...DH will probably end it there:lol: .) Then DH says "well, take a good look at this one because if I need to show it too you again, the next one will be coming at you too fast for you to see it."

There's just something about a girl and her Daddy. My DH is very protective of our girls. In my opinion, Dads have an instinct about girls and dating that Moms don't seem to have so much. DH says that's because he used to be one of those teenaged boys and he KNOWS what they are thinking.

The gun was wiped clean (only way to sterilize it is autoclave or liquid sterlization) poor choice of phrasing on my part. I was mostly referring to the pre-packaged studs. I watched to make sure, the ear was cleaned, the package that holds the stud earrings is vacummed packed, the person wears gloves, places the pre-packaged stud in the gun, the gun doesn't touch very much of the ear and afterwards the site is once again cleansed with an alcohol solution. They've got to be doing something right or there be some big complaints, also could be that I made sure the girls took proper care after we got home for the next two weeks. Having spent the last 26 yrs. working as a Critical Care Respiratory Therapist (could really tell ya about scary diseases) area hospitals has made me very paranoid about germs. Either way we've had very good experience with the one in Cary. You have a greater chance of contracting hepatitis at your favorite local eating establishments.

    We all know our limits.:)

Then again, that's what Sis and her DH said 17 years ago after they had their 2 boys. Now, they have a boy who is a junior in college, another boy who is a senior in HS, 3rd son in preschool and a 2yo daughter:shock:

They love it. Kindof like two families in one.

Baby dreams are funny. I had dreams that I had girls before I had my two girls. With the first one, I dreamed that she was already about 6 months old and then she actually looked like that later!
