Opthamologist? Can anyone recommend one? I had some eye issues right before moving here and was seeing one in VA. I don't mind a little distance like going to Raleigh or Cary for a good reputable Opthamologist. (not an Optometrist) Thanks! -K

Of course, its right across from the emergency room at Rex Hospital in a larger brick building. He seems to know his profession really well. Actually, he was recommended by someone else to my mother.

It's a little drive (about 45 min.) but Duke Eye is worth the trip! I only have experience with ophthalmologists in the pediatric clinic there so cannot suggest a specific "adult" doctor to you. Check them out at http://www.dukeeye.org/

I use the Kelly Eye Center, Raleigh office, at 4201 Lake Boone Trail, across the street from Rex Hospital. Recommendation came from my Clayton optometrist and also from the plant nurse at Bayer/Talecris. My children have seen Dr. Laura Enyedi in Durham and she is on the list for the Cary office, too. I did not realize but she also sees adults. She is also an assistant professor. She is a top notch doctor.
