Looking for a tailor

I need a good tailor to alter the fit of some of my clothes. I see that Mike's cleaners does alterations, and Jenny's in Clayton, but I need the actual fit of the clothing altered (not just hems taken care of).

Any places you may have used and are happy with?

I had a bridesmaides dress done a few years ago in Garner at Ho's tailoring they did a good job and priced reasonable.

 

I was gonna say Ho's also. That is where I take my youngins jeans and my skirts and jackets.

I am the 5th Ho....oh wait, I mean, I 5th Ho's :lol:

 

Mr. Ho says "I give you Thursday" or "I give you Saturday" when you take clothes to him for alterations referring to the day your alterations will be ready.

 

And the best thing about it - If he says I give you Thrusday - then when you walk in Thursday it is ready!! LOL And the Talk Radio/or Christian a.m. station is always playing on the little radio! LOL

Jenny refitted a too-big tailored suit for me - pants and jacket, lined, including taking in the waist and shoulders. She did an excellent job, but it took her a month to finish. (Kept bumping the pickup date - vacation and then sickness). I will definitely use her again, but will pay more attention to the time commitment.
